New York Tourist Guide

The New York Tourist Guide aims to enlighten and prepare you for your planned or just potential trip ahead. We'll start by designating Manhattan out of the five boroughs of New York that holds the most attractions which you are almost undoubtedly most wanting to see and experience. The other four boroughs are The Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island.

No New York tourist guide would be complete without a summary of some of the most popular landmarks, shopping experiences, and one-off restaurants. We like to think we don't let you down.

The most popular landmark in Manhattan is the breathtaking Empire State Building, located bat 34th Street and 5th Avenue. Although no longer the case, it was once the tallest building in the world.

Central Park is a mine of amusement with an ice skating rink, baseball fields, a zoo, lakes, and even events.

Rockerfeller Center and The United Nations are just two of the other landmarks that are considered must see attractions..

Per square block, there are more restaurants in Manhattan than anywhere else in the world so you will never be too far from one of the many diverse and pleasurable dining experiences..

The magnificent hotels are also on almost every corner and their services and facilities are second to none. If you are n a budget however, it is recommended you steer clear from those situated close to major attractions and look solely at those with two and three star ratings..

New York is of course famed for it's shopping centers but again, in order to save money, stay away from those near hotels.

In fact, it's not just the restaurants that are diverse but New York culture as a whole. The communities and the people who live within them are tight knit and are wonderful people..

Yes, there are those who have had some bad experiences but obviously the media plays it's part in portraying the negative side of New York, highlighting the negative and ignoring the positive..

Finally, avoid the use of travel agents and guides. With the sheer number of online services today, everything can be pre-booked and you can go with more money in your pockets. This is just one fo the tips provided in our New York Tourist Guide. Enjoy!
