New York Tourist Guide
New York Restaurants
New York restaurants are on every corner in New York and as you can probably imagine, there is an internationaly diverse
cuisine as you can possibly find. French, Japanese, Asian, and hell even American food, there's something there to tempt even the most
frugal of tastebuds. The smell of some of the finest tasting food in the land can be felt making it's way up your nostrils as you
stroll down the street.
Gascogne
You may not quite be in France's endearing caoital city, but if it's a taste of Paris you want,
this is the next best thing, Situated in the Chelsea district, it's likeness to a genuine French experience is a convincing one. With
French speaking waiters, Gascogne, situated more specifically on eighth avenue is one of the finest of New York restaurants.
It has seating both indoors and outdoors and the foie gras and escargota come with the highest of
recommendations.
B-Bar and Grill
With a summeresue atmosphere with it's great outdor setting, it has a very popular patio
for summer dining and drinking. It's known to attract VIPs and ocasionally, celebrities. Situated on East 4th & Bowery, it's
appetizers and the calamai & shrimp are second to none.
Per Se
Having dining here, you'll feel like you've just tasted heaven. With a daily updated
French/American menu, the divine, albeit costly is a must have culinary experience on any trip to NYC. Especialy recommended are the
"Oysters and Pears" and "Cofee and Doughnuts".
Momofuku Noodle Bar
These guys don't take reservations, so just know that you may be in for a long wait.
They also like to cram a lot of people in so you may not get a lot of leeway for stretching those limbs. However, I wouldn't have given
it a mention if even in spite of all this, they didn't serve amazing food. They serve steamed buns in the form of pork, chicken, and
shitake and each one has it's own unique and heavenly taste. Ensure that you include this in your list of New York restaurants to
visit.
