New York Shopping

Paris, London, Madid! They all have their own unique styles and each make for an exquisite shopping experience. However, New York shopping has no genuine rival and you're about to see why.

Saks Fifth Avenue
An integral part of the New York shopping experience is Saks. Born in 1924, if you want elegace, if you want grace, you have definetely come to the right place. Sorry, an unintentional rhyme there :) They have a huge array of products, both from America and Europe. From the basement, with it's perfumes and cosmetics, there are altogether ten floors of pure elegance. There are all the designer brands you would expect, as Gucci and Chanel. They, perhaps, surprsingly, have some great sales and if you lok long and hard enough, you're bound to find something you fall in love with at a much greater price you expect.

Barneys
Another one of the essential visits planned on the New York shopping list is Barneys. Celebrities galore grace the floors of the Big Apple's most stylish store. From acessories such as handbags and jewellery tofur and stilettoes, this is the place to shop for those with style on their mind and an itch in their wallet. There's a personal touch too, both at thei mage studio and the spa.

Prada Flagship Store
Never has a store provided such a theatrical experience. Wave after of wave of multimedia backdrops accompany you around your shopping journey. Even the dressing rooms are computerised with glass doors allowing a two-way mirror changing experience. Though when paying $600 for a pair of shoes, you should expect this shopping style.

Butik
Part owned by supermodel Helena Chistianson, this is the Danish version of boutique. With it's overall offbeat nature, there is a balanced blend of traditional and modern wear. Like Barney's, it's a celebrities favourite, and it wouldn't be surprising if you ran into the likes of Maggie Glynenhaal whilst out searching for your latest dream dress.
